I am glad to hear you have had good success with PVA glue. This is encouraging. I am still on the fence about sand before or after. All my 6mm, 10mm and 28mm models have had sand applied after. I may give it another try (sand first), though I am a little gun shy after the disaster of the last set (actually, now that I think of it, sand first may be better. No point in doing a great paint job and then ruining it after the fact with the sand.) Thanks.Shawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16877090963425963188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7366402421159828454.post-80804349335518763972011-08-29T01:52:06.698-07:002011-08-29T01:52:06.698-07:00I use PVA all the time and think it'a fine. (http://tinysolitarysoldiers.blogspot.com/2011/02/tutorial-base-texture-for-15mm-models.html) I use it on plastic bases and also on my steel terrain squares with no problem. I do the sand first though, doing it after you've painted the mini adds a lot of risk of glue and paint getting on your finished work.Spacejackerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05206802338386700609noreply@blogger.com
